Man did Volnation need this!!

Hats off to the players. Dobbs grew up right in front of our eyes. Hurd did Hurd-like things. Pig stepped up. Barnett is a bull.

Can you imagine adding McKenzie and Tuttle inside? This line will be filthy. Maybe even next year if those two can play right away.

I'm really glad we have Maggitt back next year. He's coming along. That first sack in OT - dang. He was in the backfield in a flash.

So now we can play some winnable games in Neyland and watch the civil war battles in the west for the rest of November. Please let us play in the Music City Bowl.

We had to. Everyone else was hurt. I am pretty sure they wanted to play Ferguson, but he had a hurt leg. Am I not remembering that correctly?

All of those things. Big time. Hurd was a monster. Dobbs was a magician. Pig was relentless. And Barnett was a force.

Did you see his reaction after Barnett's sack? Awesome. He was jumping up and down like a kid who just got a bike for Christmas.

In a sense, that was the best way for this team to win this game. They're young and they need to learn how to win. How better to learn than to come tearing back from down two scores late in the fourth? How better to learn than to have your defensive line kill and eat Dylan Thompson in the game-deciding OT possession, after the defense had been blistered all game?

This game should have been over, but they found a way to pull it out. Valuable because it's a +1 in the W column, but also valuable because these kids just learned that they are capable of winning games in this league. There is a hell of a lot of talent on this team, and a hell of a lot more coming in next year. If it all gets pointed in the same direction, **** the rest of the SEC.

Not sure about career ending. But it was ugly. Saw it live between our game. One that you don't want to watch, and the sad thing is that he fumbled short of the end zone to win the game with a minute and a half left.

Yeah, I'm not sure. He's just a sophomore. I think Prothro had some shady NCAA stuff go on in the middle of his treatment, where they cut off his benefits, so there may have been some circumstances other than the injury that caused his to be career ending. It just looked similar.

Very tough to watch and sad to see.
