Absolutely love this fan base. I always knew we were great but this shows we have top notch character across the board. Really really proud of our stand against them hiring a pig. Add more steam!

Hopefully, while voicing their displeasure with Schiano. Vol fans are showing love for Sumlin, Taggart, or just about anyone else to become our next head coach.

We'll see man. I just don't know the truth. I wouldn't have hired him for the reasons we're seeing today. Anybody with a brain could have foresaw this type of reaction. On the football field though, he'll win. Not trying to justify the hire, but that's my opinion of him from a pure football standpoint.

My folks usually get me something UT related for Christmas.

vol fans gonna go down swinging and theyre gonna take the sh** further than any other fanbase. After a decade of BS we got every right to do this. This is garbage.

He would win at the same level of Dooley or Jones. As low as 5 wins a year & no higher than 8.

We are done for good. Will be getting season tickets for Tech next week for Christmas and pulling all funds from UT. Talked to rep who said he understands and sent the email to Currie. I will actually hope to see complete and utter failure on the hill.

Was there nobody else? Or were we not willing to spend the money? Currie seemed to indicate money didn't matter. Are you telling me that we could not hire a coach for 8 million dollars a year? Were we unwilling to spend it? We're going to pay this guy less than 4 mil again probably. Maybe just at 4. This is a bargain hire for a universally hated coach.

Either we weren't willing to pay, or nobody was willing to come here. I refuse to believe the latter.

We have been lied to by Currie since the very beginning. They don't care.
