Honestly have no clue who the next coach up would be if Tee and Brohm were no go. Because Venables, Taggart, Aranda, etc probably will not come here

Hoke next year would really be awful

Yesterday was the breaking point. But I'm afraid our administration may not be getting the point of that whole thing.

It wasn't just about Schiano. It was about what Schiano represented for us as fans. After all we've been through and all we've given and cheered for, this is what you present to us? Nope.

If this is another awful hire I wouldn't be surprised if the protest happens again. We won't have the same Penn State stuff to cling to, and it will make us look crazier than ever. But I don't think those fans that rioted are just going to accept any old name they try to send out.

Good coaches know this and that's why they don't want to come here. Everybody wants to blame the fans, when in reality the problem here is the administration and it always has been.

The national media doesn't know enough about it to even really comment on it. We will just be cast as those idiot Tennessee fans! So crazy! Bad people!

But we we've been strung along and lied to for years.

This is politics 101. He is the fall guy in the media but they all backed this. That is why you now see finger pointing going on. They had to rally their message or face all of them being culpable, and that never happens in politics.

The have a very odd check box for searches and money is near the top. They legitametly thought Schiano was the best guy they could hire for their money and check list.
The search group is too small and insular and they haven't heeded search firm advice in three searches.

We are going to get Haslam'd TWICE. I can see it happening, honestly. Tee becomes Gruden overnight and it will come out that we never even spoke to him.

Has there been any talk from the media about how a bunch of Bama fans were calling Jalen Hurts the n word and demanding he be benched on social media? Funny how Tennessee is the horrible fan base and non stop talk of the news but not a word about Bama😂

Think about this for a second.....

How absolutely shook must John Currie have been when this whole thing unfolded? I just know this tone deaf fool was smiling ear to ear with a sigh of relief that he had signed his guy. Excited to show him off to the fans..... then hell was unleashed.

And the fact that this unfolded while he was in Columbus. Probably sitting in the same room with Greg Schiano.

I wonder who had the dishonor of having to call him and telling him to pull the plug on the deal.

Might as well rule out Tee. We won’t make that hire because it might actually be a home run. We need to start looking for the worst possible option out there and then think of something worse cause that’s what we’ll end up with. Mark my words.

I’m becoming LWS. I find it very hard to believe we’ll ever be great again. We’re going to be battling it out with UK, Vandy and Mizzou for the last place in the SEC. Maybe go 6-6 and make a bowl game every once in a while. And hope that our APR is good enough to get us in when we don’t.

He has to be done relatively soon. I just don't think he can be comfortable at any school event. He will have people saying things to him.
