Tony would be sitting there in three years going "Wow, I can't believe Tennessee is firing Kevin Steele! 10-26 in three seasons, huh. Never would have guessed. That job must be completely toxic these days!"

Tennessee wants someone they can control. That’s number one for them. They won’t hire Leach. That’s also why they won’t hire Lane among other things.

Come on. We offered Gundy big $ and he is at odds with his big booster. He clearly isn't easily controlled

He needs to stop screwing around if that's the case. Morris and Tennessee need each other at this point. A&M is going to get Fisher and we'll move on with Steele. Worst case scenario for both parties if he doesn't move quick.

Basically I'd be happy with anyone but Doeren. I live in Raleigh and that dude is a nothing. A zero. NC State wanted to fire him before he delivered the popcorn fart season he had this year. He's Dooley/Jones Part 3. Garbage. Give me a Tennessee guy, be it Steele with a great staff, or Tee, or Kiffin, or even Morris or Leach (pipe dream) at this point. It is as bad as it has ever been and just continually gets worse. Ultimately they just need a coach.

We really want Leach? Someone convince me his floor is 9 wins.

Note: not being critical of those who want him, Just doesn’t make me excited about our future.
