Damn it, I keep getting so pumped for this season and then a quick glance at the calendar brings me back to crushing reality. 4 months to go.

Yep. I was there in Neyland two years ago. That game was so fun and the atmosphere was so hyped. And then the last minute of regulation and OT were so crushing. So sick of that feeling.

The mind sees what's happening but is in disbelief that something like this can be happening again... To us...again...and the mind starts searching for something to seize onto, an explanation of some kind, an escape out of the situation, a way out, a path to victory. But there is none. No hope. You think we'd be callous to it by now. But the perpetual snatching of defeat out of the jaws of victory that we do still burns...

im sure its part of it but at the same time we need more than one WR. its a good pickup even if we get Von back IMO. we also lost Vic and Jenkins. That would get the WR numbers closer to where they need to be. Plus he would be a 3 yr guy.

We had a lot of heartbreaking losses under Fulmer, but it seems like we dished out plenty of wins that devastated the opponent as well.

But since 2008, we've had more than our fair share of awful losses and only a few great wins.

The only game we were on the winning side of games like that was South Carolina in 13 and 14.

Could also understand addressing the need at RB. DeMarco is gone. Randle just got cleared of charges, but what does his future hold... And Dunbar got re-signed, but let's be honest there. Duke Johnson, Coleman, Langford, Yeldon.

I'm hoping for either Goldman, Duke Johnson, or the RB from Boise St. who has a difficult name to spell in the 2nd round. The only RB I don't want is Yeldon. Then I'm hoping we snag Trey Flowers in the third round. Unless Bryce Petty is available.

Until a team has as crushing of a loss as we had in 2010 (twice! LSU and UNC), then no other team has a leg to stand on with their complaints. We hold the trump card.

Bama has an argument to make with the 2013 loss to auburn. But they're bama. They deserve everything bad that ever happens to them. So they don't count.

I get the sense that the PDs in a lot of other SEC towns actively protect the teams while KPD has standing orders to arrest as many Tennessee players as possible.

Remember when 7-8 UT players got underage drinking citations last year at party and it blew up in the news immediately?

Can you imagine that happening in Auburn or Tuscaloosa? The cops probably would have gone on a beer run for them.

Where did the holding occur? I thought it was 10 yds from the spot of the foul or is that the NFL?
