Taxslayer Bowl on sec network. Love watching this game. It was 28-0 before Iowa could even blink. Dobbs really makes this offense click. Can't wait to see this offense with Kamara, healthy wr's, a year older oline as well as year older Hurd & Wolf. Man that's just nasty.
We're gonna want some payback vs OU & Neyland will be absolutely rocking. Plus they have quite a few question marks, including a new qb & two new OT's lol. I'm not worried about uf one bit. Not at all. I think Ark is being way overhyped. They're good but game is in Neyland. Stop their run game & we handle them. If we win these 3 games with uga coming to Neyland you know damn well Butch will have 119 ready for war with the sec east likely on the line. Especially after the two close losses to uga last two years. 119 will be like swarming sharks in a pool of bleeding bulldogs. Undefeated going to bama.
Oklahoma is also replacing nearly all of their coaching staff. They have their warm-up game to make Mayfield look like a king, but I'd be surprised if they hit on all cylinders with us being their second game of the season.
I'm a little worried about Florida's defense, but they have no OL to speak of, aside from 6 freshmen coming in. So worst case scenario, the dumpster fire games of 2013 and 2014 will have us on the winning side. Best case, we establish the run, rush for 200+, and get out injury-free.
I don't understand how any Vols fan can consider Arkansas overhyped. I'm not going to bring up moral victories like losing to Bama by one, or having A&M against the ropes, THEY CURBSTOMPED TWO RANKED TEAMS IN LSU AND OLE MISS. They have two 1,000-yard rushers, and Brandon Allen isn't the bum everyone pegs him to be (20 TD, 5 INT last year). They do lose some playmakers on D, but they'll do their best to control the LOS and this will be one of the tougher games we play. I'm pegging it as a loss, just to keep my expectations tempered, it's literally a 50-50 game to me.
If anyone's overhyped, it's Georgia. They have a sturdy-solid OL, three outstanding RB's, and a pretty dang good LB unit. But they have questions at QB, WR that no one ever talks about.. I do think they'll be good enough to win 9, but they're not the unstoppable force that everyone pegs them as because they saw Chubb's highlight video. This one is also 50-50, and I don't think we take two straight home losses. I can see us dropping a hard-fought game against Arkansas and making up for it by settling the unfinished business of the last two years.
Call me crazy, I'm predicting a home loss to Arkansas, but I also feel really good about Bama this year. The have a pretty tough schedule leading up to our game-- @UGA, Ark, and @A&M the three weeks before our game-- while we're coming off a bye. That and Derrick Henry is their only returning offensive player who had any role last year. They're losing not only Amari Cooper, but like, two or three WR's behind him. They'll have a new QB and only two returning OL starters. This is the most vulnerable Alabama has been or will be in quite a while. This will be our season-defining upset-- not Oklahoma or Georgia.
