Eric, it is seriously a small world. I remember us talking about Charleston a few weeks back, and I was trying to explain where they lived. I heard Stephanie say she had a neighbor named Eric who was a big UT fan, and I couldn't believe it.

I know!!! Hilarious!

I knew when you were describing the area you were talking about one of the neighborhoods out where I live!

I never thought I'd see Tennessee fans complaining about Tennessee fans being happy about Vandy losing. Born and raised in Nashville as a Tennessee fan you learn to hate everything about Vandy. Real and true Tennessee fans hate Vandy. I don't want to see them win in any sport they play. Don't care if it's golf or swimming. The rich, preppy, elitist kids that go there look at all Tennesse fans as dumb redneck hillbillies. They hate everything about the University of Tennessee. They're our only in state SEC rival. And it's the reason General Neyland was brought in to beat Vandy that long ago. Cause they owned us way back then. So eff everything about Vandy. We own them and have now for a long time and it's pure joy to watch them lose in everything. Don't call yourself a Tennessee fan if don't love watching Vandy lose. Grow a damn pair. And like Butch says, it's our state! Vandy effing sucks donkey b*lls!

I just turned 30 two months ago and I feel like life's really starting to get serious. Have a 2 year old girl and starting to think about #2. Been down here in the Charleston area since the week I graduated UT, but starting to get this itch to move the family back to TN.

Kinda hard to believe I've been here 8 years and it still doesn't have that same home feeling Kingsport/Knoxville always had.

Will be an interesting few years. Loving life though and trying to soak it up!

My internal struggle, would it be mean to deprive my kids the opportunity to grow up at the beach? Or is it worse to deprive them of growing up in the wonderful family environment of East Tennessee?

Not what I imagined I'd be struggling with about 3-4 years ago, lol.

Yep I moved the past year and no longer even think of them since I don't have any of their douche fans near me. It's only those in Nashville that had to listen to the dumbest arguments known to man about how candy is the greatest football team known to man under Franklin. His obnoxious attitude made their fanbase the same way.

It's been a long, very hard road but we're down to just one medication, sleeping in her own room, in her own crib, and went from the 2% to the 50th percentile for her weight/length.

Little by little, Ashlee's improving enough for football season!!

Edit: And apparently I'm the new volatil with my pictures now...

God bless her for what she's gone through. Amazingly, she won't remember a thing.

They were obnoxious way before Franklin. I remember in the early 1990's when we were beating the crap out of them that 2 or 3 Vandy grads that I worked around would claim the only reason we won was because the refs gave us the game. I told one of them that we won by 8 touchdowns so how could he say the refs gave us the game and he said the refs let us score and wouldn't let them score. That shows how smart some of the Vandy grads are.
