Man that orange jerseys with the white pants just pops. Looks soooo good. That's the one I was most worried about them getting too cute with. I think they nailed it. The subtle checkerboards are so slick.

Also I didn't love the grays when they were released yesterday. But Dobbs coming out in them kind of won me over.

I would actually be perfectly happy if we just wore orange forever and always no matter what because I love how other teams hate it so much. I don't personally feel the need to mix it up that much. Maybe once every couple of years or something would be good with me. But this isn't about me and that's perfectly fine.

Butch nailed every detail of this day. What a random and fun excuse for us to be celebrating this program in early July. Butch has redefined over and over again how to generate momentum for a program. He is absolutely killing it so far as our head coach. He has changed my expectations for our ceiling as a football team drastically in a pretty short amount of time. It feels like all we ever do is build momentum. I would run through a brick wall for this guy. I feel confident that our players would as well. Feels really good to be in this good of hands.

Now on to football. I have this sneaky feeling that we're going to over achieve for some reason. We could flop I suppose, but I just don't see it. We have so much talent to play around with. The talent isn't perfect and as deep in every position as we would like, but it's there. It hasn't been there. This is a totally different set up than we've had in the last 8 or 9 years. We are going to be a handful and I can't wait.

Only combo I'm not a huge fan of is the orange pants orange top. Orange top and white pants looks great. Same with White top and orange pants.

Smokey gray looks very nice as well. Kinda wish they'd have gone with one shade of grey as the main color, but the recruits and players seem to love it anyway so it's all good.

Swain was speculating that Butch might tell a recruit not to commit today, but wait until Friday, but definitely mention Nike. It was all tongue in cheek...
