I was thinking about all the hype we are getting, and wondering if that will would help sway some bad calls this year. It seems like we always get the shaft everytime there is chance to screw us or a spot review . Like the Gurley spot last year. The Oklahoma fumble...

Maybe since we are expected to make a little noise , we might get a little help from the refs . I don't care if they help us, just hope they don't screw us like it seems to have happened so often over the past years

This could almost be satire. That stadium has consistently been awful with concessions and gates. They better get things fixed SOON.

Hard when nobody shows up to Titans games because they suck and don't attempt to be good. It may be because I am not a Titans fan but their games are so boring. No energy

Maybe they will actually call holding on Oklahoma?

Intentionally sucking at feeding people and scanning tickets is no excuse. Aramark literally had hundreds of workers not show up for the USMNT game last wknd. They have real problems beyond the team.

Hard to have energy in Neyland while we've sucked...no one likes to lose, therefore very few people are going to be loud.

The first 5-7 years the Titans were here, The Coliseum was as loud as any stadium I've ever heard, including ones that hold 40K more...

Now, since they let Floyd Reese, Jeff Diamond, Fisher, and a bunch of the guys who were responsible for assembling the teams that made serious runs at Super Bowls, the crowds have been increasingly stagnant.

Hopefully Mariota, Lewan, Casey, and a few others are the first pieces in a team that can contend for playoff births and more...but we're still at least two seasons and offseasons away from that.

Could be worse, I suppose....they could still be in Memphis. :)

I wish they would have shown Memphis, or Kansas, or Texas, or Kentucky beat down game on the SECN takeover. Basketball has had some big wins. They chose Syracuse from 2002.

Even in Neylands down years it's louder than most stadiums in their winning days. I went to Titans games when they were good and still seemed weak. People sat down most of the game unless something good happened. There wasn't any pump up the defense stuff etc.

The loudest place I have been is Saints. Holy cow that place insane. It was like a freaking party the whole game. Non stop screaming during game and then everyone singing to the songs during intermission. Granted I went to the season opener vs Vikings after saints had just won Super Bowl but still it was awesome

Keep in mind, you're comparing established teams within established markets to (in our good years, which were also our early years) fairly new team in a fairly new market. That being said, I've been to some extremely loud Titans games that easily compared to some games inside Neyland...especially the Music City Miracle.

Is it consistent? No, absolutely not. Can it be loud? Yes, it absolutely can.

Edit: And you can't compare New Orleans to Nashville in any regard, especially when it comes to a party or special event!

"That'll do Pig. That'll do."

One of my all time favorite calls by in game announcer.

I also like "South Carolina has put this one on ice with 4:52 to go"

Speaking of the South Carolina game, there's one play that would be pretty enraging if I was a Gamecocks fan:

Watch the defender at the 8 second mark. He is RIGHT behind Dobbs and makes no attempt whatsoever to tackle him. It really looks he has no intention of even trying to tackle him, either.
