In all honesty, those two games represent the most compelling match ups on Saturday in our conference.
thoughts from the game;
1. Pregame: Stock & Barrel makes a great burger. If you haven't checked this place out in Market Square and love burgers, brews and bourbon you are missing out.
2. Dobbs and Malone have a lot of chemistry. Malone could have a great Sr season next year.
3. Shortly after Kelly's long TD run, a six year old little boy behind us shouted "Who needs Jalen Hurd now!" Enough said.
4. We are weak at corner.
5. Crowd was exceptional, except for the student section.
6. Callaway needs to return punts from here on out.
7. QD, with protection, could thrive in this offense. Drew Richmond isn't a good pass blocker yet.
8. Great 4 quarter performance in all three phases. I can't recall our last shutout.
9. Babalu next to Mast General Store is a great place and cool addition to the downtown scene. Good margaritas and tacos. Pork belly queso was awesome and cheese cake bites for dessert A+.
What do you think about this. I for one think it is possible and our best shot at an SEC title.
We win out. Auburn also wins out with wins over UGA, non conference cup cake, and then an Iron Bowl upset. If that happens, we play Auburn in Atlanta for the SEC title.
I think this would present a chance for an upset in Atlanta given Auburn will have just won their "super bowl" by beating Bama six days earlier. It's hard to get back up after that high as we know from 2001 (beating UF, then losing in an upset to LSU in the SEC title game).
It could happen!
Tv dictates the time slots and they have a pretty good idea about what will bring in the viewers.
South Carolina and Kentucky do not do that.
Those are the two most compelling games for the fan bases involved but outside of that it's not very exciting for the common fan.
So Vandy and Mizzou are more compelling as the 3:30 game on SEC network then Florida/SC or Vols/Kentucky?
I disagree.

I did say in our conference
I thought the Alabama/Miss St game was scheduled for SECN noon
It is on ESPN:
Alabama/Miss state ESPN Noon
Florida/SC (Doesn't give a channel) 12:00
Kentucky/TN 12:00 SECN
Auburn/GA 3:30 CBS
Vandy/Mizzou 3:30 SECN
LSU/Arkansas 7:00 ESPN
Ole Miss/Texas AM 7:30 SECN
Edit: I still say that Vandy/Mizzou would be a better alternate channel team than Florida/SC, especially considering there are SEC championship game implications.. I will shut up now.
