I must admit that the fault in my proposition is not immediately apparent to me. Perhaps you could help me see it, or should your incredulity be sufficient for me to reconsider my position?
It's really sad that you have to have this explained to you.
Your theory would be valid if the player in question was a current Baylor player. He would have been exposed to the program and therefore would be damaged goods. This is a high school kid that hasn't been on their campus for more than a weekend, hasn't been around the players and staff, hasn't been coached by Baylor staff (the same staff that the PH report found culpable), etc. He's just like any other high schooler in the country who's done nothing wrong. Are you saying we shouldn't be taking those types of recruits? ones that have done nothing wrong...
Hope that helps. Congrats on the thesaurus use.
I know it's off topic, but Nick's done a lot for our baseball program and is a great guy. Mods please don't move this. You can vote as many times as possible.

I agree with you that he isn't tainted by the program so I'm making no indictment of his character. The problem, to me, is the timing of the situation. I just believe the media would view it as an opportunity to draw parallels between our programs. As an aside, I don't need a thesaurus.
There's very very slim chance we don't get a top 10 class if we get to ATL imo
