Bet it doesn't get near the attention and scrutiny nationally that it should unlike the TN situation. Worse than anything our admin did

Every Tennessee fan with a Facebook and Twitter account should post it. That'll blow it up...come on VN lets get proactive here.

It's crazy how butch immediately kicks guys off the team and gets massive amounts of bad press anyway, but Florida, at an institutional level, isn't taking this stuff seriously at all.

I wish the dirty rag Anita Whatserface works for, would sick her on them, but she probably loves the Gators, so she won't.

Bet Callaway plays against UT. To demonstrate how seriously UF is taking this accusation, he might be suspended for three games (two OOC and UK), but he most likely travels to Neyland. Or McElwain might follow Saban's example and not even consider keeping star players off the field.

He will play against Tennessee!! They cannot win that game without him. It will be hard enough for them with him. It's football people!! It's serious. He will play against the Vols and McElwain could care less about a rape allegation.

So which one of you guys wants to go look at every one of our commits' twitter and see which ones haven't tweeted out that committed picture yet so we can speculate on who is getting dropped?

Looks like only 9 of our commits posted the "COMM17TED" picture. CJ Lewis, Trey Coleman, P-Fant, Maleik Gray, Theo Jackson, Jordan Tucker, Chase Rogers, Latrell Bumphus, & Eric Crosby. The rest did not/have not yet.

And what conclusion are you jumping to?

Callawy's Attorney replies.

Translation: "Crap, this isn't going well. We'd rather not respond, but that would make us look even guiltier, so we're going to attack the accuser and her attorney and try and make them look bad while we scramble to cover our ass, which has been exposed bigtime. We're not releasing anything at this point, because it's not in our favor and would just make our client and our chicanery look even worse. We will respond further when we put together some sort of strategy to cast aspersion elsewhere, shifting focus away from our attempt to manipulate and deceive, which frankly, we thought would go unnoticed like it has for decades. Go Gators!"

It's not a boss move. Not only is the issue ignored but now deflected in a sophomoric manner.

Maybe I'm missing something but it sounds to me like Callaway's lawyer is putting the alleged victim's lawyer in their place.

I guess I'm just over this title 9 money grab bs I see going on. I don't care what school it's at.

The fact that Harris apologized to the girl for his actions as part of his title ix plea makes it look worse for Calloway. That was the part that stood out to me.

She's not suing anybody. She filed a complaint with the school. Bet she sues now, though.

This happened in December and neither the lawyer nor the young lady spoke out publicly till the school hired the booster to decide the case. They are now publicly highlighting what they see as unfair treatment. If the school had no brought in the booster we may have never heard anything.

If this case was happening at UT right now people would be applauding the athlete's lawyer for taking the gloves off with a statement like this...

Since the complainant's attorney has chosen to go to the press in this matter, we assume that he will be releasing the hundreds of pages that made up the University of Florida's investigation. We assume that he will be releasing sworn affidavits in this case. We assume that he will be releasing the complainant's text messages in the investigation. We assume that he will be releasing the complainant's multitude of varying and conflicting stories.

We are not going to besmirch his client in the press. The totality of the investiagation which is over one-thousand (1,000) pages will do that for us.

Our client has asked us not to release anything at this point. Because of the conduct of the complainant's attorney, that may change in the future.
