Just watched a clip on Finebumm of Butch talking about playing FL this weekend. He is basically saying they are the greatest team in the country and we have a big challenge ahead of us and he and the players need to be ready... SMH

Don't sweat the petty things & don't pet the sweaty things, Butch. (emphasis on petting sweaty things imo)

"Consistency" was the reason given. That dude loves him some Florida. Spears said that Fl has the best DL in the country. How does he know? Was it their performance against UMASS or North a Texas that solidified that line as the best in the nation?

Over exaggerate much? He basically didn't say that at all. He just said there defense is one of the best they have ever had, didn't say much about offense

If you can't win this game with so many of our starters out, FL is a truly terrible team.

For context of what he was talking about: it was in response to a question about talking to the team about players dropping the ball before crossing the goal line in other games across the country.

One of the ways we should celebrate the Tennessee win this Saturday is by all simultaneously joining Florida message boards and trolling their (uneducated) fans ad nauseam for a week.

Florida fans are ridiculously smug this year given that their team needed some flukey plays each of the last two years to come from behind and beat us by a point.

We aren't facing Tebow's or Spurrier's Gators this Saturday. I wouldn't be so cocky if I was them.

Guys, it's Florida week. I'm a really rational guy. I enjoy sports as much as the next guy, but I don't let it mess with my emotions, livelihood, mood.. I'm pretty chill about it.

Except for this week. I get a little sensitive about this game just like the rest of Volnation. It's the reason this board's been on meltdown mode for almost a month while being top 15 and undefeated. The thought of losing to Florida again is almost enough to get gag reflexes going.

Anyway, I've had a lot of football thoughts the last few days and am working on a TLDR post about Dobbs. Should probably be its own thread in the FF but what's the point in that?

I'll post it here in a bit..

those guys i mentioned along with tabor, maye, wilson dawson, harris will make your so far bad offense shat thier jock strap

not trying to cross the line jmo but yall just dont know opponents aside you can tell when great calls and blitzes are being made and we got such a great group of exp talent

hell the best so far are unexp anzalone and zuniga havent played much ball at all til this year

when maybe i got a gift lol joking but i can tell when talent is legit and will translate well to the sec

Butch did have the analytics coach speak going big time today. I think he must be a frustrated statistician. Couldn't tell if he was trolling the media or just nervous. Was kind of strange, rambled a lot without really saying anything more than he usually does. One time he asked the questioner not to ask more than two questions at a time because he was having trouble remembering the two. A lot on his mind I guess.

I was listening to CBJ press conference and was waiting for a question about the O-Line play. I did't hear anyone ask or did I just miss it? Figured that wold come up for sure. Did have a some interruptions so I could have missed it. Was hoping to hear what he had to say about it. I did hear the commit about Hall.
