That's exactly right. Tony gets labeled as an idiot because of the Lovie Smith airplane situation. In fact, I'm not even positive he said it in the way it's portrayed. Tony loves the Vols and gets emotional sometimes when talking about his love for the Vols and its fans.

He does have some sources so I always listen to what he is saying. In this case, you're right... he was spot on.

I've been down on butch and this program since this vandy loss but then this popped up in my suggested videos. Personally it hyped me back up. I was reminded of what it looked like for this defense to have a front 7. I usually hate the injuries excuse but I really think it had a profound impact on the way we finished this season. I'm going to be rooting for butch and I hope he gets to put together an improved staff (hopefully one with shoop assistants). I think JG could be special so maybe we can do better next year than people think. The bowl game will be telling of where the players are with butch. If they come out and play hard it'll prove they have his back.

I'm choosing to believe this. Butch isn't going anywhere. This is the best option for next year.

CBJ needs to look at himself in the mirror and make some changes with how he operates. A strong AD could do Butch wonders by "helping" him with this.

No, but as the caretaker of our football program, his actions also include how he represents himself in public & press conferences when he speaks about our program. His coach speak fuels a negative perception with fans, social media and recruits. He seems oblivious to that fact.

The negativity that fans, social media and news outlets expressed over the champions of life comment just shows how ignorant people can be.

I fully believe Champions of Life is firmly on his script and it blew up in his face. Nobody says that in regular conversation.

How do people feel about Tony? Didn't follow him and have no knowledge of the Lovie Smith airplane situation. I really enjoy reading his blogs though, and I think he brings some really good stuff.

When we lost to Vandy i knew deep down Coach Jones can't and won't get Tennessee back to the top i know with all the players hurt and so on but let a kid that should be a senior in highschool beat you then you are not the man and get a second chance and go to the SUGAR BOWL with a win over vandy and you jump them 21-7 and then Vandy comes out and gives you a old fashion country boy azz kicking then its time to move on don't give another year for the same results this coaching staff will be lucky to win 7 games in 2017, if he stays another year it will put us 3 more years behind all the recruits know he will be gone after the 17 season we got some talent get a coach in here that can coach the talent now not next year.

Watching that video about depresses me because it reminds me of how good we should have been
