There is a difference between being unhappy, which is most of us, and throwing a temper tantrum like a 2 year old, which is a few of you. Keep stomping your feet children, but it won't change anything. As for me and the rest of the adults, I'll be looking forward to the possibilities, rather than wallowing in the past.

Elephants trust their freshman QB to make the proper reads during the game. How many times have we seen Dobbs throw to the hot read on a corner blitz? How many times have we seen our coaches show displeasure at our QB for not making the right read on the read option? It's obvious to me that we handcuffed him, especially in certain games, his whole career. Frustrating.

I really want us to get a GOOD OC and for butch to just let him coach. Don't even have to change scheme imo (except fix the route combinations). Just call the game aggressively and let the QB run the offense the way it needs to be.

That's why some scouts and coaches think he can make it in the NFL. They know he's got the arm, overall ability, escapability and mental capacity. They know he has not had the development. Which is an indictment of Butch - but many on here don't understand that.

My first reaction to NFL and Josh Dobbs was no way. But then I looked deeper into it from the NFL side. He may never make it, but I was too quick to dismiss it.

Yep, only took 15 years. Florida has alot of high ranked guys thanks to muschamp on d. Still too many three star players recruited by tennessee when you don't have a good strength program and coaches who can coach

2015-2017 classes (per 247): 22nd, 14th, 23rd. In terms of average player quality, 16th, 20th, 15th

Per my knowledge, these are lowest-ranked UF recruiting classes in 247 system (dates back to ~2002) minus a couple blips on radar with coaching transitions. Certainly the lowest they've been on a consistent basis.

He definitely has a lot of NFL QB qualities. I don't know how well he will do or not do, I just don't understand why we didn't take the reigns off him.

Not throwing a temper tantrum, just stating facts, I guess nobody is allowed to say semi mean things about the staff. Sorry I'll quit being a meany towards butch. When a guy makes 4.5 million a year he's allowed to be criticized. Throwing a tantrum would be getting rid of my season tickets, burning mattresses, kicking my dog and ****. Criticizing a guy worth millions of dollars is not throwing a temper tantrum

Maybe you have seen some posts that I haven't, but the vast majority on here are very frustrated and either want a coaching change or some major staff changes asap. I haven't seen much sunshine pumping after the Vandy debacle. I mean, I was as optimistic as anyone on here and even I am ready to move on after that. At the very least, I want Butch to turn the offense over to a new OC and the defense completely over to Shoop.

Never understood the money argument. If Butch made $500k or $4 million, he would get criticized. It comes with the job of being at a high level football program. I believe he is 9th in salary in the SEC.

At some point though, we have to talk ways to fix it instead of *****ing. If he doesn't leave on his own, he isn't going anywhere. Time to talk about improvement.

That's how UF's currently playing - 9 win regular seasons give or take with the same 9 win type talent. Not winning or losing beyond expectations. So far we are missing on the best opportunity in years to take over the east and bump recruiting to elite status.

Yeah. I am among the Butch defenders and I still think we screwed the pooch and need some major staff changes. Of course reality doesn't fit his narrative so he will ignore it.
