And coached Tennessee for 10 years. He spent more time in TN than Bama, athletically speaking.

I wasn't trying to pile on. Sometimes while posting people like Nick have super quick posting skills and beat me to the punch.

He has multiple myeloma and has received treatment. He's also 74 years old and has been very successful in the business world. Wouldn't surprise me if he was retiring.

Ok, for anyone thinking that we need to continue to take our time, we now see how it's done. Sure, a Chancellor hire changes some things a bit, but we have a powerless AD in place for a year while Bama announces a retirement and new hire in the same day. #Leadership

Yep

Yep. There is really no need to even be blaming Butch or wanting Butch out because they are incapable of hiring a solid replacement. Might as well hope Butch figures this thing out on his own so the AD doesn't have to try and make a hire.

I agree and it's why I keep saying he has to make it at least two years for the program's sake. Bombing out next year will throw it back in the dumper because the current leaders of UT have proven to be clueless. If Butch ends up with Rock, Scott at OC and Barlow at d-back - he's done well. Still work to do, but that's two upgrades and a neutral at worst in Scott going to OC. Debord had been out of football for years before he became OC. His time at Michigan years ago had lost much of its value in today's game. Scott should be able to run with it right out of the box.

After awhile all of it becomes well known around the country about UT's leaders and it makes it difficult to hire top talent from UT President down to water boy. It's like they want everybody to know they are DA's, not just suspect it.

I did my part. I emailed Joe DiPietro or whatever his name is and asked him to hire Blackburn. I encourage you all to do the same! Maybe we should all do it every day until it's done

I wasn't really serious lol. Didn't realize he was sick though.

Actually the defensive call was fine. Ben was just able to string it out with a good play. You don't expect a long drop back on 3rd and 4.

Why was Ben able to string the play out? Could it have been because the Chiefs best pass rusher was covering Antonio Brown in space?

Horrible play calling.

Zero Vols on their roster

Go Steelers Foster

Will not pull for Patriots (Justin Coleman)

Zero Vols Packers

Man I hate the steelers and pats! But, that's a good point... can't wait til we have some new vols in the league next year. When is the NFL combine ?
