More on Chase Hayden

Freshman running back Chase Hayden certainly helped boost his chances at immediate playing time this season. He carried 16 times for 115 yards, including an impressive 74-yard touchdown run. The score came on a run up the middle that Hayden bounced outside, broke through a couple tackles and outran the defensive backs down the sideline. It came against the first-team defense. His ability to cut in open space is extremely good.

Oh yeah, while u are here Freak, I'm going to kiss some a$$ and say thank u for running such an amazing site. I lurked for years but once I started posting regularly in the last year, I've become addicted. I dig the RF, BBF, all the pro sports forum, The Pub and the Movies and Music forums and even the FF(most of the time). I don't have a Facebook account(yes, I may be one of the last people on Earth that don't) or Twitter, but I do VolNation, daily

I will be interested to see how Hayden plays against SEC competition. He played 5 minutes (if that) from my house for a private school that didn't play great competition. I never saw him play but saw highlights. I started his thread and commented that he had great vision. Just not sure he would be an every down back for us.

Yeah, if I remember correctly a couple of teams were recruiting him as a slot WR
