MJ would slap that out of Curry's mouth, shove it up KD's ass and score 60 all while having the flu.

You've spoken much truth on this board Ron. But this may be the most truthful thing you've uttered.

Jordan was a killer on the court. That does separate him from the players of today and while he played with a great player in Pippen, it was because Pippen was drafted by the Bulls and developed into a Hall of Famer. LBJ, KD, and Curry are all greats and are definitely going to be Hall of Famers when it's all said and done, but there is still at the time only one GOAT and his name is Michael Jordan.

The dunk on Mutombo followed by the finger wag. Priceless.

Each player has their own thread, and almost every day someone starts a "who's next to commit" thread.

Magazines aren't out yet for the most part, the ones that are have been discussed.

No one knows how our players look because they aren't practicing right now, and weight room workouts aren't open to the public.

Now do you see why we're not discussing football much in this thread and probably won't until practice starts back up?

In reverse order ...

-- some of our posters here are actual students on campus who might have classes with players, and can give their opinions, not to mention a few inside sources that we have close to the program ... am always interested in what they have to say.

-- magazines ... I just went out and bought Lindys and Athlon ... sure gonna be a lot to talk about :)

-- recruiting ... new developments can happen there any day, and fortunately we have this catch-all football talk thread right here in the recruiting forum. How lucky can we get!

Good first half. Lots of momentum shifts. Definitely been a game of runs.

Don't blink in this game. Been fast paced and entertaining. I went to go put the cover on my grill and came back to the Warriors up by 10. They were down by 8 when I went outside..

Any news on the newcomers?

As noted in a story from Shocky Jacques Louis, Shanon Reid looks noticeably bigger these days.

From what I've heard: The guys we expected to come in and prove themselves with already established work ethics are doing just that. Namely Cheyenne Labruzza, Ty Chandler and Matthew Butler.

-Simonton

The early reports are that guys arrived in pretty good shape overall and they like their work ethic. I don't think anyone has put themselves in the starting line up, but Palmer has been solid early and I think they like these young defensive backs.

- Hubbs

Shoop has been pretty up front about liking what he's seen early from Butler and Labruzza in particular.
