Hey friends, asking a favor- if any Android users could download the "Kisi" app on their phone and give it a 5 star rating, that would be amazing. Trying to help out a friend in need and figured this is a good network to do so.

Okay boys. I need a new iPhone. I have a 6 should I get the 8 or the X? I don't really care about features but I need a faster phone. Thoughts?

The new iPhones should come out soon. I would wait until then and get either the newest one or whatever becomes the less expensive model. The X are cool, but not worth if you don’t care about features.

The new ones should be announced next week I think. You might wait and see what they look like. At the very least, when the new ones come out, the 8 and the X will be cheaper.

This is what i'm doing as well. Going from a 6s to hopefully the 8. My wife has a 7 and the camera is night and day better than my phone, so I'm looking forward to the jump to the 8 (which includes portrait mode?). With a small child the only things that seem to matter now are storage size, screen size and camera quality!

The 7 brought in the water resistance, which was big for me. I jumped in a pool with my phone in the pocket, dried it off, and didn't have any problems.

The only issue I have is that if you don't get the 7 or 8 Plus, you don't get the better camera and portrait mode. You do get that with the X and in an overall smaller package than the Plus, which is more my style. I'm thinking of going to the X in a year or so when the battery in my 7 finally gives out. Other than that those things, performance of my 7 still exceeds my needs. Either way, wait a couple weeks to get a cheaper price.

Good call. Didn't know a new one was coming out next week. Going to wait and see if these communists drop the prices on the 8/X.

just got rid of my 6 and got a 7. it's better, it has more features with the IOS updates. and it's faster. it also has more memory which is what i was most looking forward to. biggest difference is no more AUX plug. kind of a pain, but not a deal breaker.

my wife and daughter have an 8 and 8+. if you're big thing is cameras, then i'd go with those. if not, i don't see any super differences between mine and theirs, except the price.

The announcement date is Wednesday, 9/12. Usually, pre-orders start within a couple of days and the actual release is usually 2-3 weeks later. I've seen speculation of a 9/21 release date.

Nice, I'm hoping to do a package deal, buy one/get one or something similar with the 8/8+ after the new release. Hopefully there will be a price drop around $100 or so. Finally finished paying off my 6 and about halfway on the 7, so of course it's time to re-up, apple has us trained well!

That is one reason I love my S7 the mini SD card for storage. I can put all my music and pictures on there and never worry about deleting anything.

We opted to pay for more storage last time. Well worth it. Whereas last time I needed to upgrade because of battery and storage, I could get a new battery right now and leg this phone out a couple more years. Any upgrade now is just a want, not a need.
