i don't really care one way or the other, but i do find it odd.

i assume you've been perusing for some unk length of time. you've apparently been absent for 5 years.

we have "insiders" that post here regularly, that provide whatever info they're given. i don't see anything you've posted that's all together different from what they've posted.

my stance has always been on insiders that it's up to the reader to decide what they want to do with the info being presented....that's not the "insider's" issue, that's the reader's.


all that said.........why show up 5 years later? what was the trigger to start posting again and just basically post the same stuff that's been posted by other insiders? then go around and start challenging said information?

Haha, no perusing. I literally left the board and haven’t seen it in 5 years. In that time I’ve extended my network and been more involved in it. You say there are other insiders posting similar info... so either I’m copying them or I have the same info. I can’t prove to you or anyone else either way so it’s pointless to debate that.

As to why I came back... I’m starting to question that myself. But I guess folks are gonna question my authenticity until they can see for themselves. Back in the day, LordVader, myself and a few others were the ones offering up info. And I’ve got way more contacts now than I did then, so I thought I’d come see how the board is now. And it hasn’t changed much lol

Everybody has been wrong at some point maybe through no fault of their own. There are a few of you who need to come back and take over again...

I mean nothing could have been worse than the "Gruden" thread and posters and they still exist although some may have new handles.

AV and marker are the only two that I personally have noticed that have reported information here first before it was picked up and reported by other outlets. Marker nailed the Harris commitment when no one else had ever even considered him. AV constantly reports visits etc before its reported elsewhere. So that is why I vouch for them.

This bam guy is as fake as they come, and I think it'll become more obvious to people the more he posts. He's making declarations on things he wouldn't have knowledge on unless he was on the staff. He's suggesting he knows when exactly Gray committed, exactly how many commits we have, who is/and what order kids will be cut, and he's even tried to tell us what his source told him about the OC search. Just shows up on the scene and is dropping info on literally everything.

Not saying you are, not saying you aren’t. Am saying whenever there’s a ton of hype surrounding a player and UT, you say he’s a Vol or throw a thumbs up in the thread. Did it with Bogle and Crouch and Ellis back in the summer. Do it now with Gray and Wright etc.

I’ve seen people vouch for you in the past, but I simply can’t because I’ve never seen you suggest anything that hasn’t been widely reported or rumored elsewhere. That’s all. Nothing personal.

This. Dezins of board routinely see posters convince themselves that Recruits X, Y, and Z are UT locks, or that UT will win 10 games next year, despite infinitesimal odds that any of these events occur. We saw in spades during the coaching search last year (*cough* Gruden *cough*).

I take everything I read on here with a healthy grain of salt (sometimes the entire salt shaker), so I never blame anyone for what I choose to believe.

I get what you are saying, but just let it play out. I'm not jumping on board to buy what he is selling, but honestly, if people are so gullible that they need you to steer them back toward skepticism and questioning whats posted on an anonymous site, they've got bigger problems. He could be full of it. He could have good info. He has made some audacious statements that will quickly either ruin him or prove him to be as connected as he says he is.

I’ve never seen you report a visit like AV, or announce a guy that no one else was on the radar with (marker), or report things your hearing/thinking from direct convo like @Geaux_Vols. That’s all. No need to get bent out of shape. Just one mans observations. You should’nt need my validation.
