Black Keys would be the only one from that list I have any interest in. But I'm not gonna say the rest are overrated because obviously you like them and out of respect I won't crap on em.

The first three, yes. But now they're basically the "Dave Grohl is so awesome, did you know he used to be in Nirvana" meme band. And the **** of it is, Dave Grohl strikes me as an egocentric douchebag.

he very well may be, but he's always struck me as a dude that that still can't believe he gets to do what he loves for a living and is just living everyday to 100%. the projects he gets himself into, the bands he reaches out to do collaborations and tours with, its all what i would have done if i had decided i wanted to be a touring musician forever (and somehow made millions at it). i haven't been a fan of the music for a while (that lost highways series was really cool, though), but he'll always get a pass from me for surviving the collapse of the world's biggest band at the time, and finding a way to keep playing music and seemingly having a blast while doing so.

I guess it's just Grohl fatigue. How many times do you have to hear "he's the coolest guy evar" before it gets old af? I'm sure he's wonderful to grab a few rounds with. But with the fervor that seemingly everyone with an inclination towards rock music seems to gush over the guy, it more has the opposite effect. The Travis Kelce effect.

My dad had double pneumonia and it almost did him in but he pulled through. Good thoughts.
