If that be the case, I must have by chance stumbled upon all 7 losses and seen about 3-4 wins. I know he's JFK meets Jesus Christ to a lot of you guys so I shall refrain from further blasphemous remarks about your checkerboard demi-god.Recently checked all of his posts, he had 75% accuracy. (22-7 not counting his "wins" on unannounced visits etc..) No clue what VQ has.
But it's teenagers, not sure why anyone would take a current update as a guarantee of how it will end. If they do, that's a terrible plan.
That Justin Rogers stuff ran off Harrison Bailey's dad on here. Reading between the lines Rodgers told Bailey he was going to commit. It didn't happen and people grilled him.Almost everything AV has said has either come true, or a know media guy has later backed him up.
I.E.
He said we’d get Joseph Anderson the night before NSD. We didn’t, but later came out that JA told the staff he was coming here.
Said he felt we’d get Eboigbe morning of NSD. I don’t think he declared we would. Eboigbe himself came out and said he was going back and forth all night and morning.
Posted celebritatory icon during Justin Rogers OV. Later came out that Rogers wanted to commit that weekend but a handler put the breaks on it.
He’s generally most accurate when he’s telling us who will be here for visits, which he reports before anyone else. About the only person he’s said that about that I think he’s either whiffed on, seems to be Noah Sowell, the linebacker out west.
It’s a cliche and it sucks, but these are kids and they are kinda unreliable themselves with their mind changes, and it doesn’t help that a lot of them now have parents all up in their decision, and or handlers.
All I’m saying is AV doesn’t post that often, so it wouldn’t be hard to search his history and see how “accurate” he mostly is.
Dang.If that be the case, I must have by chance stumbled upon all 7 losses and seen about 3-4 wins. I know he's JFK meets Jesus Christ to a lot of you guys so I shall refrain from further blasphemous remarks about your checkerboard demi-god.
P.S. The last time I looked I couldn't see his post-history, said it was private or something, for the flock only.
I like you man, you're a great poster. I am sorry if I gave you offense. I was speaking more of the general reverence many have for AV than responding to your post. I just don't pay much attention to it when AV posts something anymore, that's all I'm saying. It's usually vague as hell anyway.Dang.
My demigod and Jesus because I posted his percentage and didn't know VQ's (i.e. you could've been correct)
I think "overreaction" isn't anywhere near strong enough to describe whatever in the hell you just did.
Here's to hoping someone brings you an entire case of Snickers and is able to pull that stick out without it breaking off in your arse.
Agree on vague.I like you man, you're a great poster. I am sorry if you offense. I was speaking more of the general reverence many have for AV than responding to your post. Agree on vague.
My opinion on AV is that I appreciate any extra info from anyone and never expect it to be a guarantee. There's a few on here that seem to attempt to run those guys off.
Don't care for that, when they could just scroll instead.
But he's brought up the most so I went through and checked for my own curiosity and those where the results, just passing them along.
But people that really dislike him posted his misses repeatedly and *think that gives the impression of being wrong more often. My guess anyway.
Understood. I don't dislike the guy, I lurked for a year or two before I ever joined, in that time period I initially got the impression that AV was really dialed in and was an authority. I've read comments about him helping people with tickets, etc., which I have no reason to doubt, and is very generous of him. However, I have come to regard him as less of an authority than I initially understood him to be from other posters, for many of the legitimate reasons others have said (fickle teenagers, an unreliable source, outdated information, recruits telling the staff what they want to hear, etc.). I have no reason to believe that he brings his information here in anything less than good faith, I have personally just stopped getting too excited about anything he says. Probably sound advice as to all recruiting rumors, regardless of source.Agree on vague.

He ruled Chaney out the week he was announced. De1Conley showed me his own personal texts with Chaney or I’d have been depressed.
Hate’s not an option with me towards Atlanta...I believe he’s legit. We were taking examples where he was dead wrong? So coaching searches are fluid? Surprising.
I'm not at all suggesting the man is infallible, but the hate is kinda stupid. He brings what he hears, and he hears more than most of us. Take it for what it is.

Well said sir.Understood. Odd but possible explanatory analogy:Understood. wait, you hold yourself accountable for the choices you make?Odd but possible explanatory analogy:
I don't know anything about horse racing. If I wanted to place a bet, AV could tell me a favorite to win, a preferred bet and possibly some info on any undisclosed injuries, improvement and so on, that others may not know and where he's putting his money.
What he can't do is guarantee me horse X will finish first, despite all current info.
So I take what I can get out of it but don't hold him accountable for my decision.
Yeah, it is really easier to just follow who commits publicly and actually signs. He is just giving info of what is going on inside which changes easily.Like I said, it's sacrilegious. I just don't get excited about his posts anymore. I don't think they mean much, for many of the reasons you guys state.
