Not sure about Folly. We stay on the IOP. If you are into history, I would take a day to go downtown. Take a carriage tour, go to the battery on the harbor down from Rainbow Row, visit the market, and tour Ft. Sumter. There is also Patriots Point outside of downtown.
We have young kids and don’t eat in Charleston much, so I can’t suggest anything. Good restaurants around Shem Creek, and Charleston is a great beer town, if you are into that. There is also some good golf.
Love Charleston. Been there twice. Couldn't tell u the name of one restaurant we ate at. Just avoid the tourist trap restaurants. Ask locals or people at the hotel
Chatt will have to set it all up and show Bass what a usb microphone is and where it plugs in (not the coffee maker, Bass). I think Chatt is retired, but that still puts him a good 20 years ahead of Bass.
