Again, I'm fine with admitting UT used to be better than UGA. Who do you think is better now? Does UT have the ability to improve? Of course. College football is changing to CEO coaches that are elite recruiters and coordinators shaping the offense and defense. Pruitt is the same as Smart and Orgeron in that he's an elite recruiter that knows defense. As of now though, there's a sizable gap that Pruitt needs to close. If Mullen doesn't improve his recruiting by hiring a better DC, then UT will catch them sooner than later and if Smart doesn't hire a new OC that updates the offense then Pruitt could catch him as well unless he can once again convince 2 NFL talents at RB to return for their senior years.
