Anyone in here fascinated by Bigfoot? And before the smart A remarks begin rolling in, allow me to state my stance.
I believe it’s extremely possible that Bigfoots exist. I believe there’s a vast amount of evidence but nothing concrete. I just love the real shows and studies about it.
At one point a few years ago lol. Gave it up because I never found any sites with any valuable information.

That’s a why I said funny, pure comedy.
I’m with you though, I watch it all the time. I was actually watching the show about the Yeti that killed all those hikers in....Russia (I think) last night.
You talkin about the ones with internal injuries, one missing their tongue, and found barefoot?

No.
But unlike some, I'm open minded BECAUSE I'm a "science guy" and very aware of the number of new species documented, extinction dates changed and extinction declared false.

But in the show Extinct or Alive, a man searches primarily for animals on the extinct list that are possibly still in existence. He's already found 2, fairly solid evidence for a couple more and at least changed the timeline on another.
That's 1 man, taking an average of a week, to search some of the most remote locations on the planet.

Makes it hard to believe that thousands can search for most of a century but can't come up with a single bone.

I saw that. The show that came on after it is pretty awesome. It’s in it’s 3rd week. Real scientist using modern technology. Fascinating.

What’s the name? I’ll have to check it out. It’s always nice finding people that like the same shows/information and talk about it with.

Well, if you think he doesn’t have help and it’s not taking him longer than a week, then you must really think Extreme Home Makeover was amazing. 😂🤷🏽‍♂️👊🏼

But seriously, I’m open to it. I’ve heard some great biologists and primatologists discuss the notion that a bipedal human like primate could absolutely exist somewhere in the pacific NW through the Canadian Rockies. That land has never been touched and is impossible to navigate.

I thought we were going to need an intervention for some in the GOT thread.
Despite massive disappointment, I still have my love of Emilia Clarke to hold on to. Not the fault of the cast that the showrunners were/still are dumbasses prematurely looking toward their next paycheck. I expect they will fail the rest of their career and come to regret screwing up one of the best series of all time. They really are a couple of schmucks.

I didn’t hate the last season as much as everyone else, and I didn’t actually HATE how it ended like everyone else, but was surprised and somewhat disappointed. Just anti-climactic, I expected them to do more with Jon. But whatevs.
They rushed the story. They could have accomplished the same story points, for the most part, and had far less complaint if they had only continued the impressive story telling skills that were used for the previous seasons. But Bran should never have become king, and Jaime and Cersei should have died in a totally different fashion.

Probably should have known to be exact with wording when it comes to this kind of thing. "1 team".. if that changes the point somehow.

But yes, roughly a week with boots on the ground. It isn't a primetime, major network event with an almost unlimited budget.
It's a small production with a fairly strict shooting schedule and he gets frustrated for not having more time and resources often.

You asked for other's opinions.

The amazing things they did in the first 5 seasons outweigh a rushed ending that was hindered by GRRM acting like a brat and refusing to write books.

I never would have imagined anyone could pull off what they did with GoT. Gives me hope for other series I love like The Wheel of Time.

George needs to finish his books, but I blame the TV series on D&D. They could have done a better job, but I'm convinced they got lazy and it was all about chasing the next paycheck. From what I understand, HBO was willing to extend the series(and why wouldn't they be), but D&D were like "nah". Screw 'em.

Just joking with ya Charger. 😉👊🏼 I like the discussion. I do find it hard to believe there’s not a single find. 🤷🏽‍♂️

The only episode that I had a huge problem with was the one where Danaerys went apeshit and burned Everything. I really liked the Night King battle.

I agree to an extent. I do think they got lazy but it was due in part to lack of source material and input from GRRM and character fatigue from some of the main actors. I also don't think they liked the direction things were going in the story that GRRM gave them.

Seems like towards the end the only people still excited about the series we're HBO execs and the fans.

Gotcha, wasn't sure.

Becomes a more legitimate factor every year as tech and the # of people looking advance.
Even the hardcore believers are struggling to explain how that's possible. Probably why all those really far out theories are becoming more common. IMO

Y'all are wasting perfectly good Bigfoot posts in here when they could be helping the DW thread get to 20,000 posts.
