BGS, TN has no income tax.

AZ has 4.5%. If you made $220K you only netted $166K according to this graphic. I truly hope you're doing well, and, not being an ass.

I don't think it's fair to claim making $220K is same in Phoenix as it is in Memphis, in TN. Or, **** maybe it is? I would think Phoenix has one of highest costs of living in Country. IE, Therefore making $220K there is like making $150K elsewhere?

Not to mention the high tax rates on commissions. My previous job was six figures but between NC income tax and commission taxes it wasn't worth the stress.

I love sales but it's volatile. The only way to find stability is to find a company that gives a nice base salary and pays your commission monthly as part of your regular earnings so you get taxed based on standard income tax rates.

usually take 20% from my commish. Put in barclays account. Quarterly taxes

we earn monthly, but get bent over on taxes.
only a recent change.
 
I wish BGS would post his old screen name. There is enough of us that's been here a while that remember. Lol.
