You nailed me on that one. I am 40 but there are some very passionate grown men defending it which isn’t surprising because there are millions of grown men and women on Instagram and Tic Toc looking like complete dumb***** every single day. I know I know it makes you feel like a movie star or professional dancer

Technically you are Gen X on the cusp of being a millennial. You can be in those generations and still dislike social media. Many people don’t see or pay attention to what all it does and is doing to our society.

It allows for the mass spread of misinformation. It promotes group think and hive mind. It collects all aspects of your information so you are nothing but information wrapped in a neat bow for companies and advertisers. There are addictive elements imbedded in the system. There are reasons psychologists are employed at these companies.

All this coming from a millennial that works in the tech sector and uses social media. It’s just what culture is becoming.

Why all the fuss about people posting social media. Things posted on social media are to be shared regardless of any limitations. If they did not want to share the info they would have made it private, or not shared it.

If anyone, like me, who does not utilize Facebook, Twitter, or instagram because they think it is an intrusion on their privacy, so be it. I happen to think they are all great communication tools but also do not think they adequately protect my information and privacy. Also, why should I use social media to see what other people's opinions are when mine is the only one that counts.

In fairness nothing “adequately protects your information” also, sorry to burst your bubble but if your information was with any of the credit services “Experian, Equifax, or Transunion” your information is already out there.

...... what is acceptable!?!

whatever floats your boat but I go for smart, fast humor that could be seen as sometimes profane or a tad vulgar. Veep, Always Sunny, Curb, Arrested Development, 30 Rock to name a few but hey, to each their own I guess. NASCAR has to have fans too.

Only one of those I’ve watched is Always Sunny..... also NASCAR sucks.

I almost never agree with you, but you have to be blind to not see this happening.

I never watched it, but I have wanted to check it out.

Really do not see it much anymore. Bryan Cranston was funny dad, which is rather peculiar as everyone sees him as Walter White. He was the dentist on Seinfeld and on King on Queens so started as a funny guy.

Cranston over-acted the piss out of his role on Malcolm, ruined it. He more than made up for it on BB though.

It has been a few years now. Time for a BB binge again. I would think AMC will re-air the series before the movie release soon.
