It's sickening, but I wholeheartedly believe in and would fight for people to have the right to be disgusting freaks and not be discriminated against...I also wholeheartedly believe and will fight for my right to feel that their lifestyle choice is freaking disgusting and unnatural and to not be discriminated against..I had a girl that identified as that. Since I identify as an ‘old geezer’. I had to have it explained to me. In todays world, you can’t be identified as ‘insensitive’, especially in a work environment . It is close to being bisexual, but you don’t identify yourself as a ‘man or woman’ in a relationship. Thank goodness, I’m old and don’t understand this crap.
You're the only person I know who can argue tolerance while calling people "freaks" and "disgusting", lol. It's sickening, but I wholeheartedly believe in and would fight for people to have the right to be disgusting freaks and not be discriminated against...I also wholeheartedly believe and will fight for my right to feel that their lifestyle choice is freaking disgusting and unnatural and to not be discriminated against..
You think that tolerance goes both ways?...hell no it doesn't.
It's the toughest part of my Christian walk. We are called to love them as people, but not to normalize their lifestyles. They can identify as three-toed sloths for all I care. Just don't expect me to celebrate it or not to recognize it as a sinIt's sickening, but I wholeheartedly believe in and would fight for people to have the right to be disgusting freaks and not be discriminated against...I also wholeheartedly believe and will fight for my right to feel that their lifestyle choice is freaking disgusting and unnatural and to not be discriminated against..

I need to remember the "I don't identify as insensitive" when I joke with students. Opens up a world of jokesI had a girl that identified as that. Since I identify as an ‘old geezer’. I had to have it explained to me. In todays world, you can’t be identified as ‘insensitive’, especially in a work environment . I like sloths in general and don't discriminate between two-toed sloths and three-toed sloths. Sloth bigotry offends me.It's the toughest part of my Christian walk. We are called to love them as people, but not to normalize their lifestyles. They can identify as three-toed sloths for all I care. Just don't expect me to celebrate it or not to recognize it as a sin

Tolerance is expected and demanded in the work world. Doesn’t matter either way which way on spectrum I have my core beliefs and again, I cannot express my beliefs in a job setting. Mostly, that’s a good thing. The ‘You’ seems to be thrown out here where I never saw it. Maybe you can point me sorry, not, me where it was. It's sickening, but I wholeheartedly believe in and would fight for people to have the right to be disgusting freaks and not be discriminated against...I also wholeheartedly believe and will fight for my right to feel that their lifestyle choice is freaking disgusting and unnatural and to not be discriminated against..

Tolerating something doesn't mean you agree with it or like it. That nuance has been lost...the difference between tolerance and acceptance. You're the only person I know who can argue tolerance while calling people "freaks" and "disgusting", lol.
And yes, I get your point, but it still amuses me.
I can't and don't either...also I wasn't meaning "you" personally.Tolerance is expected and demanded in the work world. Edit: easy, we’re about to be kick off into the off topic tread and that’s a place that feels like the abyss.
Amen, I tolerate the non binary and the other front loops I have / deal with as a supervisor in the fire department for 9 more years and then they can go F themselves!!! Easy answer, leave them alone on an island for 100 years they don’t exist!!Tolerating something doesn't mean you agree with it or like it. That nuance has been lost...the difference between tolerance and acceptance.
There are a lot of things I tolerate but will never accept. I have a lot of strong personal beliefs, but I do not believe in forcing them on others.
I never took it personally. Like I said, I don’t care either way, but as an employer, I have to navigate slowly and get my ducks in a row. At this point, I’m looking forward to and counting down to retirement, at my old age I can’t handle this **** anymore. Well, it’s more of I don’t want to pick my words anymore when dealing and talking to them. It’s not fair to them or me. I’m still waiting on a MOD to kick this conversation to the dreaded off topic tread. I don’t have the interest or energy to follow it. You’re still one of tops in my VN book. I just like to debate. I’ve gotten rusty and like to sharpen my knives from time to time.I can't and don't either...also I wasn't meaning "you" personally.
He was definitely one of the better "correspondents" in the later years. Imo better than Samantha Bee or Trevor Noah.Turns out he used to be a correspondent on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.
So I'm gonna say no to the Fox thing. Stewart is definitely liberal.
My sister-in-law came out as non-binary last Summer. She is extremely smart. Deep. Thoughtful. She is not a "freak". Even if you think she is different or even confused, why choose such an antagonistic term to call a fellow human? There is really no need. She's a person, just like you.Freaks
