Recruiting forum off topic thread (no politics, covid, or hot button issues)

This is why you never mix real life friends with internet friends.
We actually have an awesome group of friends in a group text, who all of them come from this website. It continues to grow and has been awesome. We have met up at games, went out to eat, and stay in touch on almost a daily basis. We get to share the joys of victory and the agony of defeat in our group, along with a lot of other awesome things.

Yep the VN bad Boyz had a great year at the vol club tailgate and games this year. Of course we bust balls and don't get up in our feels. Birds of a feather I guess.

It’s true. Looking forward to meeting up next year as well.

Don't feel bad. I've actually met several of them and somehow never ended up in said text. I'd like to think it was innocent, but I'm sure they are just intimidated by my towering intellect.

Sorry. We only had room for one more in our Twitter chat and it did come down to either you or Andy Bowser. We chose Andy. He’s a famous rapper.

Translation: "We don't know how to develop QBs, so we gonna run the ball ALOT!"

Stetson went from a Walk-on, to a mediocre Juco player, to a Heisman finalist, and a potential 4th-5th round draft pick. He showed one of the strongest arms at the combine and ran one of the fast 40's... not developed? Lolololol

lol your point isn't without any merit, but he literally had the BEST players in the country around him. Covers a LOT of deficiencies.

He also had an amazing defense to keep him in a comfy position from out in front at almost all times.

Todd Monken played a HUGE role in Stetson's development as well as UGA's offense too and he's gone now. We'll see how they fare with Mike Bobo.

So Stetson played no part in that? If that was the case Bowers or Javon Bullard would have been in NY.

You think UGA had the best offensive skill groups in the country? TE? Absoultely. Offensive line? Probably. WR and RB? Nah.

They tried their best to pass him over. Their track record is poor with the QBs and Stetson is just a gamer they couldn't properly identify. I'll reserve judgement on their ability to develop on what they do next, because one success (in spite of themselves) does not a trend make.
