Don’t listen to these morans. What kind of food are looking for? Casual or a little bit more. Littons has great burgers, And for God’s sake, stay away from Applebees unless you’re looking for intestinal problems, then that’s your place.
Lol...nothing special just some good knoxville food. But I love seafood and pasta

2nd dead end I've seen, any favs from there?
Dead End's pimento Mac and cheese is delicious, but their BBQ is overrated, IMO (speaking specifically about the ribs). I much prefer Sweet P's if you want BBQ. Not that it matters, but Sweet P's was featured on Man Vs. Food if you want try finding it on YouTube.

If you like beer, Barley’s in the Old City. If you like whisky, the Jig and Reel in the old city. Copper Cellar on the Strip is good. Lakeside Tavern or Parkside tavern for something a little fancy. Aubrey’s has good chicken, very good pasta, and as good a baked potato as you’ll find. Some good places in Bearden: Nama for Japanese, Holly’s for brunch. There’s a great coffee shop in old north Knox, K-Brew, and a really good bakery across the way toward Western Heights: Wildlove.

ah that sucks that the bbq has gone downhill. We used to crush Dead End when it first opened but I haven't been a Knox resident in a long time. Really good call on Sweet P's.

You've got a lot of solid recs in here, PLove! Save some for future visits. Enjoy!

Ehh, different strokes for different folks. I'm sure there are plenty who love Dead End. Just not my preference. A lot of preference is experiential. I wouldn't refuse to eat DE by any means. Just have others I'd prefer if I'm doing BBQ in Knoxville. I could go to DE just for the Mac and cheese and deal with the BBQ. 😁

20% of my molecular makeup at one point was wings and beer from Dead End
