I used to be forgiving person but it bit me in the ass quite a few times so I said f*** it with that ****It was a terrible thing, what she did, ruined a lot of lives; but, im proud of her. How many liars never admit to their lies? Go to their graves with it? Defiant to the end?
I am a forgiving person, if someone asks. I thank the good Lord for putting it on her heart, no matter how long it's been, to ask for forgiveness, rather than saying "I'm sorry". I've always believed that's how you know a person is truly humbling themselves...if they are asking for your forgiveness, or telling you they're "sorry". "I'm sorry" is still ALL about them; "please forgive me" is humbling oneself to the person/people they have wronged.
Good for her. God bless her.
I will also say this, anyone with any sense, whatsoever, knew she was lying from the moment ALL of the information came out. So many enriched themselves, got promotions, pats on the back, puffed their chests and toasted cocktails, while dividing this country like the psychopaths they are...all based on this lie. Knowing all along, it WAS a lie.
Those who wish to respond to this with some kind of wacked-out-pseudo virtue, or hate, or politics, or bullsh!t...know that I will ABSOLUTELY ignore it. I can assure you, I couldn't give a sh!t less what you have to say, if it goes against anything I said up top. God is too good, and so is life; and, I've already wasted too much of both with my own ********. If you have a problem with forgiveness/mercy, or you're totally cool with people getting rich and ruining lives based on things they know to be untrue...I promise you, I'm not the one you should be trying to talk to about such things.
Lmao nah. **** her.
Theyāre all successful and sheās in ruins after she makes parole someday. I doubt they pile on. Her owning up to lying was recompense in a way. The pious and sanctimonious we witnessed in that 30 for 30 are undoubtedly scrambling for alternate martyrs.'she deserves life in prison'?
The most litigious & incarcerated developed country in the World. Average annual cost of jailing one person is over $30K.

No doubt there need be some type of recompense. What that is, or how its carried out is beyond me.
I wager a civil suit is going to be filed. May already be filed.
I wonder, based on her history of lying, if she's just saying it to gain favor with the parole board in a couple years?Theyāre all successful and sheās in ruins after she makes parole someday. She is already in prison but tbh I donāt blame her for the mess. I 100 percent blame the prosecution. Nifong saw an opportunity and pushed that case. While most legitimate rape cases are never prosecuted and victims are discouraged from pushing things, he took a case that was so deeply flawed on the surface that even those sympathetic to victims knew something was wrong. She likely backs down from initial statements under damn near any other prosecutor. But he pushed that case and it shot to the top of the headlines there was no backing out. He is immunized but what happened is a case study in the power of the state to destroy lives via the judiciary.'she deserves life in prison'?

Accountability and remorse (even if itās feigned) donāt hurt. My wifeās former stepdad murdered her mom back in 1982. Whatās kept him incarcerated in California every hearing now into his 70ās is his insistence that shooting her 12 times in the back after having a buddy in the phone company track her whereabouts so he could lay in wait for her wasnāt planned and her fault. All that and him still denying he terrorized her kids and burnt most of their memories and they found him suitable for parole. Weāre down to hoping Gavin Newsome has a glimmer of a soul.I wonder, based on her history of lying, if she's just saying it to gain favor with the parole board in a couple years?
When are the media and pols gonna express remorse with their lies and race baiting!Theyāre all successful and sheās in ruins after she makes parole someday. I doubt they pile on. Add it to the listOkay I will be your hucklebarrier, imagine being the number one team at your sport at the division one level and being told you can no longer play because somebody manipulated the system! Go on with your liberal ideals you shouldāve learned from this last election!!!
This is it. The real criminals are the politicians. Then and now. Hell may have no fury like a woman scorned but if recent history has shown us anything, the tyranny of the state is her twin sister. She is already in prison but tbh I donāt blame her for the mess. I donāt think him calling out the media and āpowers that beā for running with the false claims as if they were true (which is the way I took his comments) and bringing unfounded charges is liberal ideology
Also, obviously what she did was very wrong, but when people truly change their lives and realize their sin/wrongdoing, they deserve a second chance. She is already paying the price for things she has done in the past.
She ruined those 3 guys lives. Just like the UT LB who was falsely accused of rape...the damage is done the moment there is an accusation. A large % of people are never gonna believe the men involved were innocent, regardless of what happens in court. Reputation is ruined immediately and thats a stigma that will follow them and their families for life. 18 years later? Aside from all the money it cost those young men and their families just in legal fees and associated costs...I am sure it has also derailes their careers. Caused their entire families untold and undue shame and anguish.
I have a Mom, 3 sisters, a wife and a 16yo daughter that is my whole life. I am as pro- female as a guy can be. I consider it my full time privilege and responsibility to love and protect ALL of them. That said...when an allegation of rape or sexual assault is made like this it ruins the mans life immediately. If the allegation is proven to be lies, there should be serious penalties for the liar who alleged the crime. She should have to do every single day in prison that the maximum penalty requires that could have been given to the man. If thats 10 years, so be it. She should also have to make a public statement claiming responsibility for what she did and exonerate the man involved. This is a very serious matter, not like saying someone stole your car or something. Often times these allegations completely ruin the rest of a mans life.
