Still crazy to me that with how big the SEC is the refs are not even full time. The amount of effort they put in has to be getting close to full time hours anyways. Just hire them full time.

They do make a nice chunk of change part time though I will say that.

They also need to be hired from areas of the country where the SEC isn’t played. Instead, we get line judges that went to Hoover High School.
