'20 Recruiting Forum: Official Alabama Pregame/Game Thread

As the minutes wind down I will say again---- last year's team went to Tuscaloosa with less talent and fought hard for four quarters for their HC.... This year we are at home with more experience and talent and we gave up before kickoff... let that sink in. These players are NOT fighting for their coach.

Got to develop a QB. Got to have a LB to play beside HT. Got to improve secondary. Have to find a bigger physical elite RB. Crouch needs to be playing RB. Find a TE and develop freshman receivers and we may be in business.
No TE in year 3 is almost as bad as JG being our best bet.

I'm really questioning if Pruitt is the right guy. I want to believe, but idk. I never thought we would win this game. But, I expected more from the secondary and D in year 3. QB ay will be his downfall.
I get that but Bama is one of the best offenses in the country right? Still don't think we have the horses to compete. Very little pass rush.

Our starting QB stat line is 13/24 for 162 yards w/ 2 touchdowns.
he’s converted one 3rd down by with his feet
He’s converted ZERO 3rd downs thru the air.

75 of his total passing yards come on two plays for touchdowns.
One as the game was out of hand.
and someone has the nerve to say the QB isn’t a problem.
the fact the OC/HC call running plays on 3rd down should be sufficient evidence that the QB is not good enough to win games in D1 football

I think the hesitance to get away from JG is my equivalent to the loss to WR at QB Kentucky (Dooley) and not trying to beat MS State (Jones).
