'24 Recruiting Forum: Official Alabama Pregame/Game Thread

I never thought of you as the tool who goes back through comments about someone making a bad play and quoting them after the win. I guess I was wrong? And what's your point you're trying to make? That because we won, those comments about someone making a bad play are now invalid?

The receipts were requested. No hard feelings.

I'm still in disbelief. These heart attack kids just play their faces off. It aint pretty. Man, Nico is a winner. Love to see him work through the injury, bad passes, and turnovers to grit it out.

Man in two years he's going to be very very good.

If you had told me this team would hold Bama under 100 yards rushing, Milroe under 20, and pull win off after two missed FG's and 3 TO's?! Nuts!

Went back and watch the first half and last five sequences. Some of y'all clowning on Nico, his misses werent near as bad as some made them.

Ok so I already done re watched a lot of the game and I think the play of the game may actually have been will brooks shoe string tackle to save the potential TD run by Milroe

Momentum shift to Bama there would have been major
Had Milroe scored there there would have been many broken hearts. Mine included. Our defense just got to keep us going until Nico settles in for a good first half.

Buddy of mine came over to watch the game and when that play happened I said the same thing. Huge play. There was nothing but grass in front of him.

I said it all week... That there'd be plays on both sides that each team will go back and lament. Plays that had they gone the other way likely make a difference. And I think that played out.

For the loser however, they'll stinga lot harder.

Glad that's not us today.🍊

He landed bad on the unnecessary jump ball. He may be out for a while

i didn't see the jump itself as unnecessary. its a risky play for receivers but it's something speedy receivers sometimes do to settle the head and hands on your target. as opposed to running through a catch where it can be harder to maintain stillness in the head to see through the catch. center fielders talk about how diving catches are often the easiest "point of contact" catches for this reason

he should have caught the ball though, and will pay the price for the risky decision. hopefully he isn't out long

Hopefully. But he has a habit of jumping for balls he can run under to catch. I think it was unnecessary but if that's how he concentrates then that's how he concentrates

What’s stupid? You know it’s true. How many quarters or halves did we go without scoring?
How did they play vs Arkansas, Florida and yesterday’s scoreless half?
Only ones that stupid are denying facts.
Maybe they are finally getting it straightened out , we’ll see going forward.
Hopefully they have and we’ll see the second half team the rest of the year.

Acting like Heup doesn’t know what he’s doing on offense bc the OL and Nico have struggled is stupid. He has literal *years* of data that say he’s at the top of the top tier of offensive coaches in CFB.

Even if it doesn’t get all the way figured out this year, we win with defense. And that’s ok. That’s the identity of the team this year up to this point. We’re 6-1 with wins over FL and Bama ffs.

I’m not acting like anything.
I’ve stated facts. The O has struggled to score for 3 1/2 games.
He’s the Man in charge.
I’m sure he’s man enough to own it.
Yeah we win with D except against a very average Arkansas we should have beat by 2-3 touchdowns.
I’ll give him credit for the good and the bad when it’s due!

I’m not some Taylor swifty fanboy that thinks he’s infallible and gets everything right all the time like you
