Defenses have adjusted by running more db's and during them out. It takes away our passes to the boundries which we use as an extension of the run game. It's completely kryptonited Heups offense. It challenges the QB to make the right reads and hit receivers quickly......... Something young QB 's often struggle with.
Here's the problem though, short quick passes are the QBs best friend in this scenario. But Heups offense doesn't have a lot of those built in.
At dinner point I think Heupel has to either change up his offense or live with the mistakes and how he develops quickly. So far that hasn't happened as fast as we'd all like.
