I’m tired of accepting defeat in this game from the kickoff and playing conservative, scared football! It’s like it’s an unwritten rule in the TN football book, that every coach must play scared and conservative when we play the Gators.

Halftime thoughts:

Florida is who we thought they were, with all of the flaws everybody saw coming in. They are a borderline top-25 team at best, maybe not even that.


As usual, we are worse.

Yes. So true my matchups are holding true. They can’t run the football. Our receivers are open for plays. But JG can’t do anything. I fully expect him to open this half with a pick 6.

My concern is why the heck Chaney isn’t running the ball outside? We’ve had success there and we aren’t going back to it. Instead we’re putting the ball in Jg’s hands and here we are. I mean, I get that our receivers can make plays against them, but JG can’t give them a chance
