This is why we should have played Maurer all game against UTC. It has been obvious JG is never going to be good, but you don’t unleash a freshmen in the swamp and get pass happy and think it will go well. Maurer just needs reps and time but at least we can have some hope with him.

Biggest fear now is they start to shut down.

It's just what many predicted. A bad loss in the Swamp, fall to 1-3, then get pummeled straight through to the UAB game. If UAB beats us Pruitt simply can't survive. 1-11 is a death sentence.

Jones played 1 possession

Jones played in the second series when the reversed call on the fumble occurred. Then he got another series. But keep trying to make a point about giving up 150 yards down the middle of the field in the first half as the appropriate pass coverage calls. There are good reasons the coaches changed the calls for the second half.
