Rinse repeat. Been that way ALL season. Thought Bailey played fine. But that has been our pattern since Pruitt has been her.

No question, HB should be the starter now. I get if he wasn’t ready at first. I get if JG knew the play book better and had better chemistry early. I get if Shrout scared the staff and Maurer had outside issues that no one should knock. There is zero doubt in my mind (not a football expert by any stretch) that HB is the best QB on the team. He showed it on the field. Play calling was questionable at times (like always) but seriously, he just went and played the right way. We have so much talent on this team, I hope Pruitt post game is just coach speak and he sees what everyone else sees. If so, and he keeps recruiting, we seriously are so close to being really good.

Do we have that much talent though? I don’t think we have much, especially in the upper class. Our two best players are sophomores IMO in gray and HT. That speaks to the talent on the team IMO, and the record isn’t that surprising as a result
edit: I agree with the rest of your post for the most part btw

As a coach he’s still talented as an modern offensive mind and he won’t mind hiring a talented DC and letting them do their thing. Plus he can recruit, we all know that.

Your right. I actually had this discussion with my boys this morning. For the most part, Junior and Senior class aren’t bringing much to the table.
