'18 Recruiting Forum: Official Georgia Pre-Game/Game Thread

It's not play calling. It's execution.

BRO..... seriously. We don't have a good O, but a LOT of the issue was Helton's pitiful conservative, predictable play calling... He opened it up a bit in the second and we actually scored. Helton is, unfortunately, more to blame after 5 games than the kids.

Well, Ga is in year 3 with Kirby, having recruited better than even Alabama, and yet this was a fluky touchdown in the first and that late Banks fumble from being a close game? Really going to be curious to see this team under coach when he has more talent in here
Yes, I agree. I am often wrong, but from what I see, no way is Georgia a playoff team this y ear. I think we have improved (definitely from last year) and if Banks hadn't fumbled, and maybe kicking the extra points, we were right in it.

seriously as fired up as I got during the game, if this team could actually quit making so many costly mistakes, open the offense up, and stay positive and healthy, we may win one or two SEC games, or have a good chance.

Take away that fluky strip sack td and that late td from banks fumble and it’s 24-12

I agree. Which is why I didn’t care too much after the Utep game. I figured the mistakes would be corrected before Florida, boy was I wrong lol. I’m afraid our offense has already been “opened”
