I will not take anything back that I said about JG this year...he earned every drop.of criticism he got from me...BUT...he is a different guy off the bench..that guy is the guy I expected to see all year.

Some..I should say..most..people could never recover from the depths he sank to. He is a tough tough tough young man, and he deserves as much praise from me now, as he did criticism earlier..

I don't understand what his deal is sometimes...he gets in his head way too much I think, but I will never question his heart again. You can count on this JG...


Let us hope this is who he remains..



And coaches please keep bringing him off the bench...for whatever reason..it works.

Holy Moly boys that was an ugly game. However, our boys found a way to win and I am proud of that. Those boys have fight in them now. That scramble by JG at the end to seal the game was awesome. He sold out. That’s what we should have seen from JG at the beginning of the season I am proud of him. Glad they found a way to pull it out! All around good victory!

Isn't it nice to finally see our team for once play crappie but found a way to win! They just didn't give up!

This was our defense having a down game but a multiple play goal line stand screams louder about this squad’s mental strength than any of their more dominating performances imo. Now recover for a week and run lots of steps for the stupid penalties and close this out!

I was right there with you. To many times we have seem the game slip through our hands and when is the last time have we seen a stand like that when the game is on the line? Just a great effort by the entire D

I wish these SRs had one more year to make up for all the crap that went on during their time at UT. But if they win out and get a warm weather bowl, that would be a great way to go out with some bling and their heads held high. I really want it for them.
