I’d like to hear all the silver linings after this one. It was a Butch Jones Derek Dooley game. The point where you know it ain’t gonna work.
Man, I’m usually leading the line on this but I just don’t see it yet.

Maybe it’s because I’ve kind of accepted Tennessee being a 7-9 win program.

I remember being so mad at Vegas or ESPN placing our over under win total at 4.5.

I really don’t know football
Vegas was at 4.5 iirc. FPI had us at a lowly 3.8 wins.

Said before the game this one didn't affect our outcome too much, likely a 5-5/6-4 team regardless, swap the 4 "40-60% games" around however they may land - uk, usce, auburn, tamu. We at least still have that usce win and just need 1 of auburn and tamu to still finish at par.

What I did NOT see was a total meltdown vs UK coming. This amount of upheaval is unpredictable.

Short-term, I just hate we'll have zero confidence going into Bama. Even last year we were coming off a win and were high in spirits.

Can’t believe the team is so mentally week
I get it’s tough playing for JG but idk
Why we didn’t continue to pound the rock right after halftime is beyond me also

Agreed. Bama's defense is not good. I see no reason Bailey shouldn't start. Can you imagine how energizing it'd be for the program if he lit up the Tide and the stars aligned for a UT win? The small possibility of that is far better than starting JG.
Hey, South Carolina beat Georgia last year. It could happen for us.

Glad to see Bailey get some snaps but I feel bad for JT. He only got One series where we didn’t try to stretch them deep, instead we called more come back routes. When the defense doesn’t respect the passing game, they sit on those routes. Bad play calling imo.
