This may be a crazy thought , but what if JG plays well AND we still play Bailey. Coaches do it all the time just to get valuable experience. We need to start getting him ready in a year where eligibility doesn’t matter anyways

If it’s a blowout (unlikely), sure.

But if JG is playing well and it’s a ballgame you don’t take him out just to get HB experience. You play to win now.

Coaches using 2 QBs happens most when they possess different skill sets. Like a HB + Salter combo. One pocket QB, one mobile.
