Stressful game but a good damned win.

Also, looking for the silver lining here: I applaud Coach Banks for realizing that rushing three was not working for us. We brought extra guys on all four plays after that. 4th and 20+ should never be in question but we eventually got the stop we had to have.

I'd really really really like to thank the sec's efforts in trying to right the wrongs of the ole Miss game.

Major hats off to our defense. You will not win any awards for that performance, but on three plays you made what I would consider game changing plays.. The 4th down at the end of the half. The pick six. And the fourth down to end the game.

Hendon. Effin. Hooker.

This. I just hope we fix whatever the heck we called defense this game before next week so we play Georgia competitively.
Before this game, I thought we could scare UGA at least if they were one dimensional. But they have an even better OL than UK and superior backs...and they won't get away from the running game.

I posted this in the RF Football Talk thread and thought I would leave it here too:

Today is not make or break for CJH, but a win today puts him ahead of schedule and would go a long way to righting the boat in Knoxville. All he needs is to score one more point than KY. A win today means he sweeps the bottom half of SEC East in his first year as coach. Good first step.
Bump
Go Vols!!!
