Last time I checked, you had to have possession of the ball with a foot inbounds. Which meant you couldn’t be bobbling the ball and step out otherwise it is a no catch….. correct?

Palmer said he had to complete the catch (not suggesting a bobble hurt). Even he admitted that there may not be enough to overturn it.

Speaks to me as a coaching staff that has no confidence in their qb. We have have a pass to the end zone there with hooker as qb.

Only thing I would have done differently is take a knee and call a TO to waste a few seconds so Kentucky doesn't have the chance to receive the kickoff.

A catch is when a player controls a ball in flight before it hits the ground and has any part of his body inbounds. Possession is only determined as defined at the end of the play.

Heup and staff are by far the best we've had in over 15yrs and it's not even close... but no one is perfect and sometimes as only a HC in his 6th year, he's gonna mess up and make bad judgement calls.

Tonight we are playing a bit conservative and scared on Offense and we are fighting the refs on D with our Dline, but our secondary is sucking up the entire kroger field and look like Butch and Pruitt secondaries... it's really bad.

We are keeping them in the game. We MUST score any points we can the first drive to change the tone of the second half in our favor.

Can someone please go tell Banks our best defense is man to man and send pressure?!! Come up with some exotic blitzes to put pressure on Leary’s face and see how well he does then. He is sitting back there for 10 seconds and throwing to guys sitting wide open in the zone.

Why do you think he ran it twice? Because he did not want to punt it back to them with time to score. You either score or not let them score to close the half. The clock management was actually perfect.
