This offense needs to be more disciplined. Penalties, the fumble, drops...they're beating themselves. Nico had a good first half. Get Sampson more involved, protect the football, get a TD on this first drive and don't look back.

I don’t even care though, this team has left all kinds of points on the field. The bad officiating is just highlighting the underlying awful play of the team.

Both are true. But even when you are leaving points on the field left and right, you deserve a fair whistle. That was very clearly a first down. Hilarious that the ref picked the ball up and walked it back to be short. He even started to put it down where it would have still been a first, and then backed up further.

I’ve yet to see us have Sampson in space one on one vs a linebacker all year.

We are So married to scheme that we don’t get the ball to our “dudes” in advantageous situations.

Not arguing it but complete stupidity when Nico clearly knew it was a first down and then had to react in the heat of the moment when the refs botched the spot

But even if it had been correctly spotted and we had a 1st clock still runs once set.

A spike is dead clock until next snap, period.
