Our Vols come off of another gritty, closer than expected win against a much more inferior opponent in Kentucky. We all hoped that would be a get right game for our offense, but it continued to be more frustrations and almosts. Add to that, our FG kicker struggled, and by all accounts we left 20-23 points at least on the field. Fast forward to Mississippi State this week. This is our last chance to get the offense clicking before going to Athens. This game will be all about us and executing. We are far superior in all facets of the game. Here is the keys to winning big.

1. Defense keep doing what you are doing. Hold Mississippi State to less than 19 points and we should win this game easily. Stay healthy, and let’s go to Athens and show everyone just how good we are.

2. WRs CATCH THE BALL!! Nico is playing very well, the OL is healthy and playing much better, and Dylan and the crew keep doing what they do best. The WR group is who is holding the offense back. The plays are there, we just need that group to execute. This is the game that we finally get it clicking on all cylinders, just in time to go to Athens.

3. Gilbert, get your head right game. We are going to need our FG kicker down the road. I would love to score all touchdowns from here out, but he’s going to have to make some field goals under pressure. Need to snap and clear last Saturday.

4. I didn’t spend a lot of time on Mississippi State, because I just think we are superior. The freshman quarterback does have potential, but I think the environment will be too much for him. They have a wide receiver with almost 700 yards receiving. Shut him down, stop the run, and win big.

Prediction: we finally click on all cylinders, and this game is wrapped up much early than last week.

Hang on, gang. I hit post accidentally before I was ready.

Ok, done. Sorry about that. Volnation going hay wire while I’m trying to compose the thread. It kept blanking and restarting. I would try to put the topic line in bold, and it posted the thread instead. I would be in the middle of typing something and the keyboard would disappear. Not sure what is going on, but it’s done.

There is not a changing of the guard with the game threads. I reached out to @nicksjuzunk and told him I would do this week to help him out since he is swamped with life. He is going to go ahead and start working on the Georgia thread for next week.

Wasn’t my fault… It actually kept posting what I had written when I would hit the bold icon. Not sure why it was all weird and acting like it did. I had to rewrite things multiple times because it kept restarting and went back to what had originally posted before I was close to being done.
all good.

Pretty much what he said. Practice for UGA and it is all about the offense and kicker. Solve those issues, win a natty.
Was just thinking about if I was UGA how would I stop TN. If they focus mostly on just stopping Dylan, and do, then we've gotta have a good passing game. Gotta be on target, and make catches.
