No. It’s not just the QB. It’s everything but Sampson. Last week Nico was incredible and we dropped multiple touchdown passes. We fumble in the red zone frequently. It’s the entire offense, it’s not just Nico.

Part of me thinks that Hooker was probably the most undervalued QB ever that finally got a shot. The other part of me keeps reminding myself Nico is a freshman and Heupel knows what he is doing.

I really hope it is the latter.

if the first play is an incomplete pass, you just gotta commit to passing at this point. I’ve seen us run on second down all season long for no gain. Opponents clearly know it’s a habit, if I can point it out

1. Hendon Hooker was far better than even we thought.

2. We’re a lot better than the points we’ve put up this year. Efficiency is solid, we just seem to shoot ourselves in the foot in the worst possible moments. Some turnover luck, some bad penalties.

It’ll turn around. Maybe we’ll pull an Ole Miss and do it against Georgia lol.
