For the first time I can see real promise in JG. Against the easier opponents he is going to the right receiver nearly every time. Threw some good balls today and less errant balls. He's still missing some check offs, but got several right. Will see just how much improvement he has made next week.

The O-line is just so good they can whip 7 and 8 in the box. Chaney was a bit erratic on play calling part of the time, but was good most of the time.

I'm afraid CJP hurt Taylor's future by asking him to play CB when he signed. He still doesn't get it. Wish he had stayed a WR or had gone to safety if he had to play D.

Surely you mean the DL...
Nah, the OL is not playing as well as I would have expected. But like I said, with the lack of practice and the aggressive rotation Will Friend employs, it’s not totally surprising to me.

I’m not saying they’ve been bad - the looked much better today than last weekend - but I think a lot of our success running the ball has been based on the running backs.

Just checking in for first time since this morning, are we happy with this win or no?
I though O looked better. Was impressed with Oline early, but seemed they got soft as game went on. JG payed well and made good decisions.
D needs work. Too many big plays. I know we held them to 12, but needs to improve to hold a good team.
Good win!

OL hasn't been perfect but they've done a solid job so far. Next week is the real test. RBs are good but, as Pruitt mentioned, too many arm tackles. They are getting some enormous holes and lanes to run through. Pass pro has been pretty good. JG had a lot of clean pockets today

We rushed for like 220 and averaged over 5 a carry. You’re insane.

I am sorry, but this is a hell of a take lol. There is absolutely zero evidence for your claim. We rushed for 232 yards and 1/6 of our running plays went for 10+ yards. Additionally, we had zero negative rushing plays today. JG was only sacked one time.

My concern with him even behind this elite Oline is he still isn’t dominating teams we should be dominating by multiple touchdowns...that’s the key highlight for me...like what is it going to take?...he’s made major improvements sure! But will it be SEC contender worthy improvements?..as it stands now I firmly believe we have the talent to beat Georgia and Florida to win the East but it still lacks at the QB position to finally put us over the edge...I’ll leave with this.we will all see who he really is next week.

Again, I didn’t say we played poorly or we struggled at all. I think there were 5-10 plays that were ended because of miscommunication on the offensive line. The majority were in the first half.

Again, I think they played well today. But there is room for improvement.

If we had a Derrick Henry/Najee Harris type...they would win the Heisman behind this line. I will never understand why we couldn't get one those types last year, it looks like they would be salivating to play here right now.

What about today makes you worried about the offensive line?

I think there are still some slight chemistry issues between each guard and tackle combination and I am worried a team like Georgia will be able to take advantage of it in ways Missouri could not.

It doesn’t mean I don’t the offensive line isn’t the strength of this team.
