Yeah, they need to find someone who can wheel and run and come forward and read plays.
I get the move of slaughter to outside bc I think he’s better served out there but the rest of that position group is abysmal

This is why some of us have been calling out the recruiting all week. Need dudes 3 deep and not reliant on leads athletic upper class men with experience. Keep recruiting the way we are this season and we will continue to have these team gaps.

To be fair this will be the best defensive haul we have signed in yrs and it’s not even complete yet.

You’re right, def shouldn’t have taken a sack. Hooker gotta throw it downfield and give someone a chance to make a play. That doesn’t change that going for it was the right decision.
