This absolute azz-kicking in the trenches prolly hurt Venables and Stoops even more than us going over the top.

I get the groaning about the conservative play calling, but let’s be blunt here. We threw a bomb and over threw it. We hit a slant to Squirrel who dropped it. It was the right call to be 90% conservative. Our defense gave up some stuff at the end but they also won the game for us at the end, that was a clear fumble and TD return. We won 32-9 basically without bozo officiating. Nico stay poised and never forced anything. Call it “ugly” if you want but it was a good win. Period. Let’s ****ing go

Also, love that Heupel, in a single statement, addressed every gripe and complaint we've read on here tonight.

They adjusted the playcalling and plan based on how the game was unfolding in order to make sure we won the game. Not complicated and not an indictment on the ceiling of the offense against a top defense.

Most likely would have scored more if we played more aggressively in the second half, but with the way defense is playing it was unnecessary to take any risks. The refs tried their damndest to reinsert Oklahoma into the game, but they never truly threatened.
